Hariyanavi or Jatu or Bangaru is a dialect of Hindi language, spoken in the North Indian state of Haryana, and also in Delhi particularly by Jats. Haryanvi is usually not classified as a language and has lots of similarities with Hindi, and has plenty of Urdu words in it. It can be considered as a variation of the early Khadiboli. Hindi speakers consider it to have a somewhat harsh tone.

The Indian state of Haryana has produced a number of kinds of folk music, and has also produced many important innovations in Indian classical music. The folk music of Haryana has been spread by the Bhats, Saangis and Jogis.
